Our new DOLLE clickFIX®️ comfort loft ladder has two installation solutions where you can install into plasterboard so its flush with ceiling. Thanks to the newly developed loft ladder profile we have a durable fully integrated ceiling solution where the plasterboard is placed directlyagainst the loft ladder profile and only the trapdoor is visible at the entrance to the loft space. In the second option is you can install the traditional way using our new architraves. Either way you can visually conceal the installation joint for a seamless finish and both options are included with the loft ladder.
For greater comfort and safety, the steps of the DOLLE clickFIX® comfort have been designed to be particularly deep. They are 13 cm deep and thus offer a very secure surface. The telescopic handrail allows secure grip when going up and down. On request, a second handrail can be ordered as an accessory. The DOLLE clickFIX® comfort can be operated easy and comfortably. A spring mechanism makes folding and unfolding literally feather-light.
The DOLLE clickFIX® comfort has a 3-section steel ladder with 11 steps for a floor to ceiling height of maximum 264 cm. The 130x70cm and 140x70cm models can be extended with an extra tread for a maximum floor to ceiling height of 278 cm. The feet of the ladder are telescopically adjustable. This allows the ladder to be easily and precisely adjusted to the ceiling height.
The new patented articulated lever is another improvement. It allows mounting without tools and convinces by an improved adjustability between lever and pivot plate. The lever is merely plugged onto the pivot plate, turned around and cannot be loosen again by itself. TIP: The lever should be oiled once a year for a long-term function. The 24 cm high casing offers better possibilities for installation in more insulated ceilings. For example, it can also be installed in lowered ceilings.
The DOLLE clickFIX® comfort can easily be assembled by one person thanks to its low weight and patented assembly technology with Click modules: align the casing, screw it on, hook in the trapdoor and ladder section and adjust to the room height, done.
The patented DOLLE clickFIX® range is optimally insulated and easy to install for the transition from the warm living room to the mostly cooler loft. It prevents the loss of energy due to the air tightness which is achieved through the draught excluder. The circumferential double seals and corner seals significantly reduce the risk of condensation forming and effectively protect against possible mould growth. DOLLE clickFIX® comfort has a component-tested U-value of 0.49 W / m² · K tested by ift Rosenheim.
