The loft ladder weighs on average 25% less than a traditional loft ladder. It is designed for easy click mounting without use of tools.
The insulation as well as the structure without frame in the trapdoor prevents heat loss, which thus gives a good saving on the heating bills, compared to traditional loft ladders. The clickFIX® loft ladder from DOLLE is insulated with 70 mm expanded polystyrene (EPS).
The low u-value is particularly noteworthy for the loft ladder, since all the products are tested for u-value as a building component, similar to doors and windows. Usually, u-value indications are given as a calculated center value for the trapdoor, which is highly misleading in connection with energy calculations.
Vapour barrier with TwinActive-foil seals your product for optimal heat-insulation. Easy to attach.
