SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION

We develop, produce and distribute products, systems and applications, which create, connect and open up spaces - for easy accessibility and smart utilization. Our solutions are an integral part of home environment and we add value to every home. Therefore, we work predominantly with natural materials and sustainable, environmentally conscious production for the manufacturing of all our products. This philosophy is central to our business.  

WOOD FROM CERTIFIED FORESTS

For all our stairs, we use wood from European forests, this includes Scandinavian pine & spruce and be assured ALL our wood is FSC-certified. The DOLLE A/S has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 1994, we have 18,000 sqm of manufacturing space and Europe's most modern production facility. More than 300,000 stairs are manufactured each year and we also offer custom-made solutions. All of our products are produced with modern production processes including CNC controlled wood processing and lean production techniques.

RECYCLING OF MATERIAL AT DOLLE 

DOLLE A/S were one of the first companies in Denmark to introduce paperless production management in the mid-1990s. Work orders and all technical production data are accessed electronically on every machine and workstation within our facility. In keeping precise control of the production flow, we ensure product quality is maintained with constant monitoring for high standards and any defects.

All wood waste produced during production is extracted for and farmed to be used for heat generation. In a thermal power plant, the wood waste is used to provide the city of Frøstrup with environmentally friendly district heating. 

We have specifically developed our test center and all new products from ongoing production are rigorously tested.
