The SW stands for sandwich construction which is a construction DOLLE has been using since 1951. The 56 mm trapdoor is made of a 50 mm expanded polystyrene insulation framed in spruce and protected by two 3 mm white-facing HDF plates. DOLLE SW56-1 is a traditional wooden loft ladder. It has a high quality finish with a white-facing trapdoor. Easy operation is obtained with the included push/pull rod.
The loft ladder is manufactured in a very high quality and with a solid ladder to ensure safe access to the attic. The dovetail connection ensures tight fit of tread in string. The strings of the 3-section ladder are made from pine and the steps of very hard beech wood. It has non-slip treads for extra security.
The loft ladder DOLLE SW56-1 is particularly well suited for low to non-developed attics or a rarely used roof space due to the very good insulation values.
